About the role

We are looking for a precise and independent Allround Bookkeeper responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of our company, with Exact Online as the central accounting system.

You will ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and that the administration is complete and up to date. Part of the role includes updating and further structuring parts of the administration within Exact Online.

You will work closely with management and the external accountant and play an important role in maintaining a reliable and accurate financial administration. This role offers a high level of independence and responsibility, with the opportunity to actively contribute to structuring and optimizing the financial administration.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and process the financial administration in Exact Online
• Book purchase invoices, sales invoices, and journal entries
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Reconcile bank transactions and various payment platforms
• Prepare VAT overviews and support month-end and year-end closings
  

What we are looking for

We are looking for a structured and reliable bookkeeper who takes ownership of the financial administration.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a bookkeeper
• Proven experience with Exact Online and/or similar ERP systems
• Good knowledge of Excel and experience with Word
• Accurate, reliable, and well-organized
• Independent and solution-oriented
• Excellent command of English is required
• Dutch language skills are a plus
• Knowlodge about PayPal, Shopify, and/or Salesforce is a plus
• Preferably based in or near Haarlem, considering commuting distance
